One of the most popular themes of my one day seminars is the constancy of human nature. Why? Because to adapt best to a changing world, you have to know what should change, and you should essentially base that on what cannot change. My contention is that what should not change is whatever we do that connects most powerfully with people.
I'm talking about people, and not consumers, very intentionally. I'm convinced through my research as well as personal meetings with many similar professionals such as Peter Barker-Homek, CEO of TAQA and Chuck Thorpe Dean of Carnegie Mellon. That the spirit of this new millennium, is drastically shifting us from consumption powered by transactions and information, to emotional connections created by trusting relationships. Needless to say that's on every facet of business, whether internally within your business or organisation or external with your surrounding relationships with suppliers or consumer friends.
What all my seminars will produce is a powerful understanding of the triggers of human relationships and easily transferable techniques to utilise that.
